Ira is energy and enthusiasm personified. More curious than a cat, Ira is always game for trying the new and the different. She easily makes friends with creatures big and small – from the neighbourhood grandma to the gardener, from the kids in the park to their pets, from the aunty next doorto the newspaper guy – Ira engages with one and all in her easy, affable manner. These days Ira is skilfully managing her interest in karate (having just got her orange belt) and music.
